My name is Patrick O'Neill. I am a photographer who was born and raised in Greenwood, IN.
I photograph moments that bring to light the humanity in every day life.
My work is rooted in an intrinsic desire to celebrate the commonality and diversity among one another.
What is the The Color Grey?
Because today’s politics have become so polarized, our political discourse is void of the very human elements which animate it.
The Color Grey is a place that brings to light the grey areas which exist, but are rarely covered in political dialogue. Using photos and the photo essay format, I hope to bring to life the humanity that is at the heart of our political issues. It is my hope to create a political conversation that puts human beings at the forefront.
Some projects will blatantly be political, but others may be more personal to me. Regardless of the subject matter, I hope to share pictures that inspire you to acknowledge our shared humanity.
